  • You can book online using any of the “book now” links found on this website. Alternatively, you may also call the clinic directly using the number provided on the site. Please note, as Alice is a sole trader, you may need to leave a voicemail and she will respond to you as soon as possible.

  • No referral is needed to book an appointment at The Inlet Physiotherapy in Cape Paterson. You can see Alice directly for physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, and rehabilitation.

  • Yes - whilst there is parking available, it is limited due to being in a residential area. Please be mindful of space so others can access the studio. This is particularly important if you are attending a class.

  • The Inlet is based at 3 The Inlet, Cape Paterson in a residential area.

  • Your Initial Physiotherapy appointment will be 45 minutes which will include a thorough assessment, treatment and rehabilitation plan.

    Standard follow-up appointments and reviews will be 30 minutes which will include further treatment, exercise prescription / therapy and advice to ensure you continue on your path of goal achievement.

    Extended 45-minute appointments are also offered if you have more than one presenting problem or if you would simple like to spend more time with your Physiotherapist.

    Clinical Rehab, Dynamic Mat Pilates and Women’s Strength classes are 45 minutes.

    GLA:D Osteoarthritis classes are 60 minutes

  • Generally, you should wear loose fitting comfortable clothing that will allow us to assess and treat the presenting area whilst allowing you to move freely without restriction.

  • Yes, all of our services are private health rebatable with extras cover, including physiotherapy consultations, Clinical Pilates, and the GLA:D program. Rebates vary depending on your health fund and level of cover.

    For information regarding claiming with specific services and the amount you will “get back”, contact your provider. This will vary depending on your personal level of cover.

    We can provide you with the billing details on requests.

  • Home visits are considered on an individual basis. Please call or email Alice to discuss

  • At this point in time, Alice is not seeing these funding types. However, please feel free to reach out if you fit under these categories

  • Physiotherapy can be covered by Medicare but you need a referral from your GP under the Medicare Chronic Condition Management (CCM) plan.

    You may be eligible for up to 5 Allied Health (ie. Physiotherapy, Podiatry) sessions per year which Medicare will cover $61.80 of the consultation. You will then need to pay the gap fee.

    Your GP will decide whether or not your injury is appropriate to be treated under this scheme.

  • Yes, if you are a pensioner or Health Care Card holder, please don’t hesitate to make us aware and we will offer you a 10% discount off all of our individual services.

    Please have your Health Care Card available for inspection.

    Pension/ Health Care Card discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

  • Please bring any relevant medical reports or scans, private health insurance card (if claiming), and wear comfortable clothing you can move in.

  • Clinical Pilates at The Inlet Physiotherapy is led by a qualified physiotherapist and tailored to your injury, condition, or goals. Unlike general Pilates, it focuses on safe rehabilitation, motor control, and long-term strength.

  • Yes. Alice provides physiotherapy for a wide range of sports injuries, including running injuries, tendon pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She also offers injury prevention programs for long-term results.

  • Yes. Alice supports women during pregnancy and postnatal recovery with physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, and tailored exercise programs to safely return to activity.

  • The Inlet Physiotherapy is based in Cape Paterson and proudly supports clients from Wonthaggi, Inverloch, and across the Bass Coast region.
